What should I do if the app shows 'Disconnected'?

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled, your device is nearby, and it's charged. You can also try restarting the app or reconnecting from the device list.

Why can't I find my device while scanning?

Ensure the device is powered on, charged, and close to your phone. If it still doesn't appear, restart Bluetooth and the app, then try again.

Why does the app say 'Pairing failed'?

This may happen if the device is paired with another phone or Bluetooth permissions aren't granted. Unpair it from iOS settings if needed, and retry.

What happens if I don't enable Bluetooth on my phone?

The app won't connect to the device. Bluetooth must be enabled to sync data, receive updates, and maintain connection.

Do I need to pair the device every time I use it?

No. Once paired, the app will automatically reconnect when the device is nearby and Bluetooth is enabled.

Can I use the device with multiple phones?

No. The device can only be paired with one phone at a time. To switch, unpair it from the current phone first.

Does the device work without internet?

Yes, Bluetooth works without internet. However, syncing data to the cloud or firmware updates require an internet connection.

Will the connection stay active if the app is in the background?

Yes, the app supports background Bluetooth operations, but iOS may restrict activity to preserve battery. Keeping the app active ensures stability.


Usage

Can I wear the device during a workout?

Yes, it's designed to stay secure and work accurately even while you exercise or sweat.

Can I wear the device while sleeping?

Yes, it's safe to wear overnight and helps track sleep quality and resting heart rate.

What does 'Device is off-body' mean on the app?

This means the device isn't detecting skin contact. Reattach it securely to your body using tape.

What happens if I don't have the app with me for a long time?

The device can store data temporarily, but syncing with the app regularly ensures complete and up-to-date records.

Can I shower with the device on?

The device is waterproof and it is safe to wear it while showering. The grip of the tape might vary basis skin type and time since application.

Does the device need to be worn 24/7?

For best results, 24/7 application is recommended. Though it will track metrics whenever and for however long you wear it. Continuous wear ensures we capture your complete physiological picture - including sleep, activity, and recovery cycles. This way, insights aren't biased by missing data. It allows the system to build a personalized baseline, detect subtle trends over time, and provide more accurate guidance on your health and performance.

Is the data recorded by the device shared with anyone?

No. Your data is securely stored and only accessible to you unless you explicitly choose to share it.


Charging & Power

How do I check the battery level of my device?

You can view the battery level in the app when the device is connected. Look for the battery icon or percentage on the main screen.

How do I charge the device?

To start charging, you need to put the device in the charging case and make sure the pins are aligned properly. There'll be a white pulsing light to indicate that the device is being charged and a green pulsing light to indicate that the case is being charged.

How long does it take to fully charge the device?

Typically, it takes about 1–2 hours to fully charge.

Can I use the device while it is charging?

No. The device needs to be off-body and resting on the charger during charging.

How will I know when the battery is low?

The app will notify you when the battery is low. Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings > Notifications.

Do I need to remove the tape before putting my device for charging?

Yes, please remove the tape before putting the device on charge.


Skin & Tape

Is using the tape safe for my skin?

Yes it is generally safe. If irritation occurs, stop using it and contact us for assistance.

How do I remove the tape?

Peel it off gently from one edge until it is completely off. Roll it up using a finger to dispose of it properly.

How long does a tape last?

Typically up to 1-2 days. Replace it earlier if it becomes loose or uncomfortable.

Can I wear the tape during a workout?

Yes. It's sweat-resistant and designed to stay on during intense activity.

Can I reuse the same tape?

No. Tapes are designed for single-use to ensure hygiene and proper adhesion.

What should I do if the tape keeps peeling off?

Make sure the skin is clean and dry before applying. If it continues, try a new tape or contact support for alternatives.

What is the frequency of computation of these metrics?

We compute all our metrics once every second. This frequency lets us detect micro-trends in blood-flow dynamics in the tissue, capturing fine-grained changes and enabling richer, more accurate health insights.

Is it safe to put this sensor on the temple for prolonged hours?

Yes. We use a standard PPG sensor in our device, which is safe to use and is commonly used in health wearables like smartwatches.

Is the device waterproof?

Yes, the device is waterproof.

How much does the device weigh?

It weighs under 2 gms.

Where should the device be placed?

Select a flat, hair-free region of the temple. Avoid areas with sidelocks, hairline, or eyebrows. Do not place the device on the curved part of the forehead. The device should be aligned such that it sits flat on the temple.
